Do you want to train your pet in wow vanilla and get ultimate pet? If your answer is yes, then you are at the right place. Follow this short article, you will find the answer.
Most pet skills, however, are learned by taming a creature who already knows that skill. To learn a pet skill from the wild you need to stable your regular pet, go out and tame a pet that knows the skill you want, and fight with it until you get a text message that you have learned the new skill. Sometimes this happens immediately, sometimes only after several battles. Many hunters believe you can learn a new skill faster if you melee in close proximity to the animal you are learning from. I also feed the pet until it is "green/happy" though it is unknown whether that also helps. Once you have learned the new skill, it is safe to abandon the creature (unless you want to keep it as a permanent pet).
Some pet skills you cannot learn from the pet trainer, these skills can only be learned certain pet types and can vary in their application based upon whether the pet is defensive, offensive, or a balance between those two. In order to learn these skill you need to go out and tame a pet that already has them. For example if you look at the All Hunter Pets list you can see a column for Skills, these are skills that the pet will already know when trained. You are not always immediately granted the new skill just because you tamed the pet, you may need to feed them and take them into a few fights until you get a message that you have learned it.
Pet Happiness and Loyalty
Pets have a happiness level and in order to maintain your pets happiness, you must feed it. Feeding your pet is very important for overall output. The happier your pet is, the more damage it deals:
·Happy: 125% damage
·Content: 100% damage
·Unhappy: 75% damage
Trainer Pet Abilities
These pet abilities are going to be mostly defensive, and utility abilities for you and your pet. Think of things such as Growl (your taunt ability), resistances, armor, and stamina. Keep in mind when training your pet, you’re only going to have a set amount of points per each level. So, you may want to prioritize shadow/frost resist, or armor, depending on what you’re doing/mobs you’re killing. If you’re PvPing, you may want to focus on Shadow, and Frost for resisting fears, and novas on your pet! These abilities are going to be offered to you through the trainer, much like your actual spells at a trainer. The pet trainer is going to be incredibly close to the hunter trainer, so make sure you’re keeping an eye on these. Each level of growl helps your pet hold aggro significantly better, and in turn will speed up your ability to level.
