Blizzard Entertainment has announced the launch of WoW Cataclysm Classic Phase 2 on July 31, 2024. This update introduces familiar, Troll-themed raids in a fresh format. While full details are yet to be disclosed, players can soon face the formidable Troll hordes on Classic-era servers.

Zul'Gurub and Zul'Aman in Phase 2

In Phase 2, players can tackle level 85 Heroic dungeons Zul'Gurub and Zul'Aman. Originally part of The Burning Crusade expansion, Zul'Aman was a notable 10-person raid, once the exclusive source of the Amani War Bear mount, which won't be available in the Classic era. The reworked Zul'Aman features new mechanics and challenges, offering the following bosses:

●Jan'alai
●Halazzi
●Hex Lord Malacrass
●Daakara

Zul'Gurub, an early raid from WoW's vanilla days, returns as a Heroic Dungeon in Phase 2. These dungeons function differently from the original raids, featuring these required bosses:
●High Priest Venoxis
●Broodlord Mandokir
●High Priestess Kilnara
●Zanzil
●Jin'do the Godbreaker

Optional summoned bosses include:
●Gri'lek
●Renataki
●Hazza'rah
●Wushoolay

Players with high Archaeology can summon one of these optional bosses. After defeating the main bosses, a treasure map can be unlocked, leading to a powerful Account-bound ring, with a visible gem when worn.

Rare Mounts and Rewards

Players can earn rare mounts in the Heroic dungeons of WoW Cataclysm Classic. Zul'Gurub offers the Swift Zulian Panther and Armored Razzashi Raptor, while Zul'Aman provides the Amani Battle Bear, obtainable by defeating the first four bosses within a set time limit.

To access this Phase 2 content, players need an item level of 346. These dungeons have their own Heroic difficulty tier, with rewards including 353-epic drops for nearly every equipment slot, focusing on Bracers, Helmets, Shoulders, Guns, and Wands.
