Trove is a sandbox massively multiplayer online role-playing game developed and published by Trion Worlds. Firstly, it should come down to which class you have the most fun playing and find your favorite class but if your more into functionality more power to you. You can trial all classes to level 4 to get a feel for how they play. I highly recommend doing so as that also gives you some mastery points. With that out of the way if you r looking for a good class to grind with Gunslinger or Neon Ninja are a good bet. Nn(Neon Ninja) is fast in higher ubers with good damage and move speed but that needs perfect gear to be the fastest farmer. And he's pretty slow/weak before his class gem, and even after you get it you need to get gems with a BUNCH of crit for him to really be effective. So you might be better off using another class to get to the higher ubers to farm gems for your NN. Gs(Gunslinger)has top tier dps (though a bit squishy in U9).Pick one you like and get it to level 30 first if you want easier shadow towers work on gunslinger when you get his classgem he does insane dmg.

 

Secondly, CB (Candy Barbarian) is the easiest starter class with his self-heals. Then farmed gems for SH (shadow Hunter, has ranged dips, can snipe through walls) to 5K. After SH got his class gem you can stop using the CB, got SH to 10k+ and farmed stellar gems for NN. You might be better off starting with Candy Barb, if you don't want to then Gunslinger would be easier to get up to high power rank to farm gems. If try maintaining a class till 10k you can get better gems for all the other classes. There trial classes to gain mastery and how those play out. Faetricksterhas plenty of cc/distractions, and gains a great dps boost when going without taking damage. Knight Well rounded dps/tank, good starter class. Pirate Captain Minion mayhem, great solo class. Ice Sage mid-range class, great for group play but falls off in solo. Dracolyte- Longtime favorite class, officially left behind by the meta as of mantle of power When you start progressing in a profession you get mastery points for each tier. For example, I was leveling up my gardening the other day and I got mastery points for reaching rank 50,and then more for reaching 100.There are weekly contest that give free rewards on Monday mornings. Press the K key and look at the Weekly contests tab. This is one way to get free boosters as you play the game. IF you are not in a big hurry to get to end game, there are free rewards that you get over time that can help in the long run.
