In August, there will be a big update on Phantasy Star Online 2 New Genesis, bringing New Braver Class, Side Story, Quest Later and more!

 
 

Brave Class
The Braver class will come with powerful class skills that augment the class’s fast-paced and agile attacks. Brave Combat reduces PP consumption for a short period of time and ends with a powerful finishing move. Katana PA Combo also features three levels of Action Changes that increase each time the same Photon Art is used in succession. The Photon Bow is capable of dealing consistent damage through quick shots while moving as well as charged shots. Once the Braver class is released, players will be able to take on Braver missions by talking to the new class instructor Dierdre. Additionally, players will also be able to collect Braver-specific outfits, emotes, and hairstyles through the new Astute Braver SG Scratch Ticket.
 
Side Quest
"A Melancholy Monument" Side Story will be added to Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis in August. Complete the side story to receive rewards! The new Urgent Quest "Mining Rig Defense" will be available in Central Aelio starting August 18. Up to eight players can join the defense quest to protect the mining rigs from enemies. The quest features new enemies like self-destructing "Boms" and aerial DOLLS "Destragras". If players survive all of the waves with at least one mining rig left, then it's mission accomplished! All weapon categories from the "Evolcoat" series will be available as rewards.
 
AC Scratch Tickets
Finally, several AC Scratch Tickets will arrive in August. This kicks off with the Summer-themed Sunshine Marine Stars collection on August 4, 2021. It includes ice emotes and marine-themed outfits. Oracle Renewal Collection II is coming to the Revival AC Scratch Ticket store on August 11, 2021. It will feature several items that were only released in the Japanese version of the game, including the Pure Maid Dress and Cursed Coat outfits. On August 18, 2021, the Summer Sky Seaside collection will be launched and emotes and swimwear will be added to match the summer season.
 
Regarding the MMO’s current lack of content, Sega has a plan to address that too. A new Urgent Quest named Mining Rig Defense will send a team of eight to defend a set target from several waves on enemies. This Urgent Quest will feature a new enemy type, the ability to upgrade the mining rig, and a mini-gun style mobile cannon. Completing the quest will give players the opportunity to earn a weapon from the upcoming series, Evolcoat.
