I see many players asking how to build and play Skype in community. There are various thoughts on him. Today, I am gonna share with you some of my personal views. Now, let's dive in, shall we?

Skype Best Build:

Generally speaking, a common build for Skye would be to make her poison bolts cooldown maxed, and hitting enemies with poison bolts card at lvl3 or higher. With these two cards at Max you have a build for either debilitate Skye or smoke screen Skye. For debilitate tho you can use the max caut card that she has for poison bolt. Not really a Skye main and not at my computer so don't really know the name of the cards, just saying from general experience and watching pro players/getting rekted by skyes
 
For a debilitate build you'd wanna focus on making poison bolt cooldown and maxing caut on poison bolt, and for a smoke screen build you'd wanna max poison bolt cooldown, max hitting enemies with poison bolt reduces cooldown of smoke screen, and the last 3 cards have one reduce cooldown of smoke screen and fill the last two.

 
 

Skype Gameplay Tips:
 
Skye is pretty weak at flanking and there's not many tricks for her anymore, because Smoke Screen doesn't block Line of Sight anymore. The best way to play her is going versus 2+ tank comps and melting them with Debilitate. It became more harder since they deleted her loadout cauterize card. I honestly don't see her in my ranked games at all.
 
However, the best counters to Skye are damagers and other flanks. Cassie can ulti and destroy you in 1s. Lian can easily ulti you. Going against damage/CC heavy supports like Pip or good Mal'Dambas can be a pain as well, because not only you need cauterize and resilience to fight them, but they deal a lot of damage as well. At least this patch Skye counters snipers way better than previously.
 
If you (for some reason) wanna use Skye as flanker, you probably should go in with Hidden, try to get a kill and escape with Smoke Screen or use it to heal yourself with Healing Vapors. Until you hit cauterize 3, it's hard for her to kill anything. You count on the enemy healer not helping your target.
 
If you play front-line destroyer Skye, just sit behind one of your tanks and spam poison at them, and if someone jumps on you use Smoke Screen to heal yourself and escape. Here you have more variety of using Hidden and SS, because you don't need to use one of them to get into the backline.
 
Skye is amazing against Makoa, Ruckus, Torvald, but got weaker against them, because you need time to get cauterize+wrecker to destroy the shields.
 
I think the only combo that is left to use Smoke Screen, right click and use SS again. For what? I don't know. Maybe for the movement speed or more self-heal, or just for more Smoke And Dagger healing smokes.
