Rough Astral Diamonds Farming
 
The Rough Astral Diamond refining limit serves as baseline for how much ADs a you can earn. Only 100,000 of RADs however can be converted into “real” Astral Diamonds per day. With this hard cap the devs control how much free Astral Diamonds players can add to the economy. Once at level 70, you normally shouldn’t have any issue hitting the cap, but lower levels might not get there consistently.
 
There are two main way of accumulating RADs on characters. The first one is running the available Random Queues. After you’ve collected a few thousand RADs from Random Quests, then you can practice method 2 - farm runs. Players play the fastest dungeons (currently Temple of the Spider, Shores of Tuern, and Demogorgon) to quickly farm end chests which include RADs.
 
Daily Quests
 
 Daily Quests are the most common ways to obtain AD. You can do different types of Daily Quests (PvP, PvE Dungeons, PvE Skirmishes, and Foundry Quests) that award AD upon completion. The rewards differ from one Daily Quest to another. Talk to Rhix in Protector’s Enclave to initiate Daily Quests or simply activate them via the Landing Page!
 
Farming Event Rewards
 
Another major way to earn AD btw is Skirmish hour events. At any given moment in the game an event is running, you can see what the current event is and the next two events next to your mini-map. When the skirmish event is running you get 1000 AD from the chest at the end, you can easily get 3-6k AD in an hour from one of these, while completing your skirmish daily for another 3k on top of that.
 
Dungeon Farming
 
You can play dungeons for free dungeons chests, and sell the unbound loot can net you a decent amount of astral diamonds. Dungeon chests will have a rough astral diamond reward in place of salvage items. They are also removing the need for a dungeon chest key, and offering reward rerolls to add chances for better loot. Also some of the Masterwork resources that drop from bosses sell for a decent amount. Granted, you won’t get something valuable every time, but items like Ultimate Enhanting Stones can add up to a nice profit over a few days.
 
Selling items at the Auction House
 
When you run a dungeon and obtain loot that is not useful for your character, you can simply sell it at the Auction House. As previously mentioned, the Auction House uses AD as a currency and you can make a nice profit by selling items here.

How to Use Astral Diamonds in Neverwinter?
 
In Neverwinter, Astral Diamonds can be used in multiple ways. You can use them to speed up Profession tasks, duplicate the appearance of an object that you like, buy some new epic gear in the Auction House, and so on. Note that you can’t use Astral Diamond immediately. You have to refine them before you use it. To refine Astral Diamonds, you can either wait for the game to auto-refine them, or refine by yourself by clicking the “Refine” button on the currency tab in your inventory with a limit of up to 24,000 AD per day.
