The NBA 2K19 series continues to redefine what it means to be atop the sporting game market. But coming off the monster success that was NBA 2K18, the team at 2K Sports had to find ways to innovate with another yearly release, this time trying to hit on every possible angle. Some of the best new features this year come on the court itself. But this year's game isn't content to only address the offensive end of the court.
 
Not only can players team up with friends to challenge other friends, leagues like the MPBA and WR should have a much easier time scheduling and matching up teams. This will only help to strengthen these organizations and increase their chances of being a more established feeder league for the NBA 2K League. Clearly, that wasn't the case as we are prepared to move into a new era of competitive Pro-Am play in the NBA 2K League.
 
NBA 2K19 Gameplay
 
We got to play NBA 2K19 at a recent event and came away with some lovely direct feed gameplay footage. The 2k19 hype is real and the fans are more than thrilled about their new game coming out on the 11th of September. The has been many trailers, sneak peaks and screenshots of 2k19 but they gave some gameplay for IGN to promote. The catch-block that Davis gets against Simmons was fierce. Like previous versions, your character will have a nickname for the story mode, unless of course, the story is completely separate from the rest of the MyCareer journey. The real action looks to begin in the G-League. In the trailer, the character is playing for the Indiana Pacers' affiliate, the Mad Ants, but I'm not sure if that's the only G-League team available.
 
We've gotten gameplay and other details about Cheap NBA 2K19 MT already, but Tuesday brought a first glimpse at this year's installment of the game's MyCAREER mode. The popular story mode allows gamers to step into the shoes of a character and play their way into the NBA ranks.
 
Elsewhere, MyGM: The Saga returns and offers a story in the vein of an expansion team. My League Online gets a facelift this year as well, opting for live events for staples of the off season such as free agency and the draft.
