Face of the Franchise newest features
If you have not played this entertaining game mode let me give you a brief summary of what happens. Essentially, it is a POV experience as you create and control a single player and live through the stages and obstacles to get to the National Football League. You are not only going to play games, but it takes you to interact with different characters, coaches, friends and family that will shape the way you enter and perform in the NFL. In Madden 22 we will enjoy big changes to two of the main features: The Road to the Draft Prologue and Player Game Style.
Class Progression System and Special Abilities
However, what’s different about Madden 22’s Face of the Franchise: United We Rise, is that there will be a brand-new class progression system available. Within the game’s customization hub, you will have the ability to give your player “special abilities” to fit your unique playstyle, as well as individual archetypes based on existing players (much like in MLB The Show).
For example, “The Magician” (Patrick Mahomes) is a quarterback archetype that would allow you to detect defenses and make effective decisions both in and outside of the pocket. While “Hawk” would be a defensive archetype for a linebacker, allowing them to excel in the middle of the field to maintain control of the game.
Another significant change in this year’s Face of the Franchise mode is the ability to play with both offensive and defensive positions. Outside of the three primary offensive positions available to choose from (quarterback, running back, wide receiver), you will also have the option to play as an NFL linebacker.
Linebacker Position
For the first time in Face of the Franchise, you can now play as a linebacker. If you prefer an agile, coverage-style LB, choose the "Hawk" class. If you're looking to get at the QB and disrupt runs in the backfield, go with the "Infiltrator" class.
The Yard Progression
If you are someone who enjoys playing The Yard, Madden NFL 22 will offer unified class progression between Face of the Franchise and The Yard game modes. This unification provides players with more than one way to level up their preferred classes.
Madden 22 is available via the MVP Edition on August 17, and it will release on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PS4, PS5, Stadia and PC. Just equip yourself with some cheap
