LOL Mobile Version League of Legends: Wild Rift - Everything you need to know about LOL: WR
LOL: Wild Rift is a mobile version of League of Legends video game that developed and published by Riot Games for Android, iOS and consoles. So what is this new mobile MOBA? Follow this short article, you will find the answer.
What is the League of Legends: Wild Rift release date?
League of Legends Wild Rift will launch sometime near the end of 2020, which is still quite a good deal away. Then again, fans have been asking for a LoL Mobile for years, except they might not be getting all that they hoped for. While PC and mobile games won’t intersect, Wild Rift players will still be able to use their main LoL account and even get rewards on mobile for playing on the PC.
What champions are available at launch?
Over 40 champions at launch. No exact number has been specified yet but at least 40 is off to a good start. Some fan favorites were confirmed to be part of this launch roster, such as Nasus, Twisted Fate, Annie, Fizz, Lux, Garen, Jinx, and Nami. (A full known roster can be found at the Wild Rift Fandom Wiki.) By comparison, when competing MOBA game Smite from Hi-Rez Studios launched on console in 2015, all of the gods on PC (around 70 at that time) were available to play. To be fair, though, the controls for Smite were easier to transfer from keyboard/mouse to gamepad than is probably the case for League of Legends.
What major changes are there between Wild Rift and League of Legends?
Some champions will be undergoing some slight overhauls to their kit. For example, Ashe can now control her ultimate, Enchanted Crystal Arrow, just like how support mage Yuumi can control her Prowling Projectile on League's PC version. The level cap is also set at 15 instead of 18. This is probably because Riot wanted a faster experience for Wild Rift, with games only expected to last up to 20 minutes. Ashe's Enchanted Crystal Arrow will be controllable in Wild Rift. Runes will be ported over to Wild Rift, but not as you know it. While some pre-existing runes like Conqueror, Manaflow Band, and Conditioning will be making it onto mobile, the system has been completely reworked from the ground up.
Will progress and champions from League PC transfer to Wild Rift?
No. Although you can connect the two accounts, progress in the two games is separate. However, veteran League of Legends players can earn some special rewards for the years they’ve spent playing the game. Details are still pending on what those rewards actually are.
What are the Minimum Mobile Requirements To Play League of Legends Wild Rift?
As the game is still under-development thus there is no exact set minimum requirements to play League of Legends Wild Rift, however the developers have aimed for these following Minimum requirements- For Android Devices: Compatibility equivalent to Samsun Galaxy A7: 1 GB RAM, Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 prcoessor, and Andreno 306 GPU. For iOS Devices: iPhone 5S and later.
Since it is only months away for the release of LOL: WR, it is the best time to equip yourself a high-ranked LOL Mobile account.
