Last Day Alive is a free bullet-riddled, zombie-killing survival game on both Android and mobile devices. Your goal is to survive in a hostile environment, building up your base and resources and fending off invaders both alive and dead. So, if you've played basically any survival game before you'll know the basics already. But, being a mobile game , there are some differences.

 
Enough prelude! Here's a basic rundown of your main concerns at the beginning of the game.
 
Zombies
 
There is a wide variety of zombies in the game. To kill them efficiently, you need to know their weak points and different tactics.
 
∙ Explosive zombies: Aim for the Belly!
∙ Jumpers: hit them before they attack or hit them while they are in mid-air to knock them down.
∙ Spitters: hit them in the poison sack around the neck to deal maximum damage.
∙ Shielded zombies: slow them down and stun them to slow their progress.
 
Weapons
 
Currently, there are four weapon types for your option in the game: Assault Rifles, Sniper Rifles, Shotguns and Machine Guns. Assault Rifles and Sniper Rifles are used for the long-range category while Shotguns and Machine Guns are short range weapons. In PvP matches, you’d better go with Machine Guns as they can be used to destroy enemy covers and leave opponents vulnerable for attacks. Base building
 
Here’s a breakdown of all base buildings in the game and their usage. You can unlock and upgrade base building directly with gold or collecting specific materials and oil in the game.
 
∙ The Town Center sets the level cap for all other buildings.
∙ The Armory must be upgraded to increase level cap of weapon upgrades.
∙ The Factory produces Materials.
∙ The Storage is used to store Materials. It is necessary to upgrade the Storage to upgrade the Town Center.
∙ The Helipad is repaired when player completes Chapter 2 of the Campaign. Later it is used to increase the health of the helicopter in Base Raid mode.
∙ The Oil Rig is unlocked when Town Center reaches level 4. It is used to produce Oil.
∙ The Tanker is unlocked when Town Center reaches level 4. It is used to store Oil.
∙ The Bank can be purchased to receive Gold on a daily basis.
 
Helicopter
 
Helicopters are important transporter to destroy enemy camps in the game. Once you’ve managed to reach the end of Chapter 2 in the Campaign and repair the chopper, you will get a functional helicopter on your Helipad ,and you can fly them  bases in Base Raid mode and destroy enemy camps.
