Starting today,
MLB The Show 19 gamers can link to the PlayStation Network and keep up with all the accounts’ upcoming Twitch live streams from Sony San Diego Studio and others to get in-game rewards, as Twitch Drops are coming soon to MLB The Show 19! There will be no need for commands or keywords during the streams. Just follow these simple steps to receive drops:
1. Go to the Twitch Drops section on your profile on TheShowNation.com
2. Log into TheShowNation.com with your PlayStation Network account
3. Click "I Agree" to start the process
4. Enable your account by clicking "REGISTER"
5. A pop-up will appear asking you to click "OK"
6. Enable your Twitch account by clicking "REGISTER"
7. You will be taken to a Twitch login page. Make sure you login with the correct Twitch and click "Authorize"
8. Link the accounts together by clicking "LINK ACCOUNTS"
9. A pop-up will appear asking you to click "OK"
That is it! If linked correctly you will receive Twitch Drops by watching Twitch Drop enabled MLB The Show 19 Twitch Streams. You will receive a notification on Twitch upon reaching the viewing requirements for the Twitch Drop and the in-game item will magically be added to your inventory.
MLB The Show 19 Roster Update Schedule
In addition, each and every month, the performances of MLB players in real-life are analyzed and their stats within MLB The Show 19 are tweaked to reflect that. For example, if one player is hitting home runs for fun, their rating is only going to go up.As for the updated roster schedule, the first Friday of a new month at approximately 3PM EST, the game will update the statistics of the virtual players. here’s a schedule of roster update as you can see in the image below:
To updated your roster, simply load up MLB The Show 19 and the game will automatically download the latest rosters with updated player stats and ratings. Then all you need to do is make your way into the Diamond Dynasty menu, select the Rosters option, and then manually save them to your game.
If your console isn’t permanently connected to the internet, then you won’t be playing with updated rosters in MLB The Show 19. Instead, you’ll need to get yourself connected to the internet, head to Diamond Dynasty, choose the Rosters option, and then manually save the updated rosters to your game.
Additionally, to update the rosters of Minor League teams in MLB The Show 19, you’ll simply want to head to Vault, Roster Vaults, Browse, and then Search for the player lineup you’re after. Once you’ve found the one you’re looking for, simply save the roster to your game as you would any other.
