During the Halo Infinite Multiplayer Mode, the developer has released more activities for players to join in Halo Infinite. Players can experience different modes and popular matches in the new update of Halo Infinite, and there is a limited event called Cyer Showdown Event. Many players are willing to know more information about this event. Basic Introduction of Cyber Showdown Event

Periodically, new limited time events will be arriving inside of Halo Infinite, similar to what other live service titles like Fortnite or Call of Duty: Warzone.

 

After a couple of Halo Infinite events called Fractures: Tenrai, this latest one brings more of a neon flair and synthwave to the popular franchise. Cyber Showdown adds a limited time 10 Tier Event Pass that is 100% free for all players. Similar to the revamped Fractures event pass, players will be progressing through all 10 tiers by completing special event challenges that cycle through alongside normal weekly challenges.

 

The Cyber Showdown event date and time release seems ready to start at the standard challenge reset time on 18th January 2022, However, unlike the Tenrai event, dataminers are saying that this event will last two weeks rather than one, giving players a larger window to grab the rewards involved. 

 

Unfortunately, unlike Tenrai again, it's not clear if the Cyber Showdown event will be coming back at any point in the future. That's not to say it definitely won't, but when Tenrai was announced, there were clear future windows marked out for when it would appear - and Cyber Showdown doesn't have that. This might be players only chance to grab the loot and rewards attached to the event.

 

Pictured above are the unlockable rewards you can get by completing each of the 10 Event Pass Challenges. The challenges are all centered upon the newest multiplayer mode made available by this update, Attrition, which is like Team Slayer but you share a pool of lives while trying to deplete the enemy’s supply.  The key difference is if a team player runs out of lives and they’ve been extra helpful in contributing to the battle, the team can choose to spend one of their lives to revive them, like sharing stock in Smash Bros.  The challenges include typical milestones all in Attrition mode like winning matches, killing enemy players, and reaching certain quotas of assault rifle, pistol, and melee kills.  All of these challenges are visible in your Weekly Challenges list, either current or in the upcoming section.  Each time you complete a challenge, one of the above ranks is achieved and you get the corresponding reward, like with the Tenrai Event Pass.

 

As with the Fracture: Tenrai event, progressing in Cyber Showdown’s event pass will require completing starred challenges that appear in your challenges list. If you don’t currently have any starred challenges visible, you may have to finish off a normal challenge for a chance to get a starred one.

 

Given that the event runs for two weeks, it’s unclear if we’ll be able to finish all 10 ranks of the Cyber Showdown challenge in the first week or whether these starred challenges will be spread across the 14 days.Either way, you can expect the Cyber Showdown challenges will be focused on the following modes: One Flag, Attrition, King of the Hill, Slayer, and Capture the Flag.
