Riot Games have teamed up with Twitch to offer four months of exclusive League of Legends loot to Twitch Prime members. From May 28, Twitch Prime subscribers redeem one special loot capsule for 16 full weeks in League of Legends.
 
Twitch Prime director Larry Plotnick said that the deal with Riot Games represents exactly the kind of opportunity the team hopes to offer fans.
 
“League of Legends has been one of the most-watched games on Twitch for years, and partnering with Riot to offer four months’ worth of League of Legends loot to members is the kind of amazing content we get really excited about,” Plotnick said. “We’re striving to make Prime the absolute best deal in gaming, and we’re off to a big start in 2019—we’ve already offered our members more than $900 worth of games and content this year. And that’s just the beginning. Stay tuned, because there’s a lot more goodness coming this summer.”

Twitch Prime members can currently claim a Rift Herald’s Capsule, which comes with two random Skin Shards, a random Legendary Skin Shard, and an exclusive emote.
 
In next 30 days, 60 days and 90 days, Twitch Prime members can claim another 3 loot capsule separately claiming the first capsule, with the 90 day capsule having the best loot in it.
 
The remaining three will include a Red Buff’s Capsule, Blue Buff’s Capsule, and a Baron’s Capsule to round out the drop.
 
The Rift Herald’s Capsule, Red Buff’s Capsule, and Blue Buff’s Capsule all give the same type of drops. Each gives one Legendary skin shard, two random skin shards, and one exclusive emote. The final capsule in the series will come with a random Permanent Legendary Skin as well as another random Skin Shard and Emote. The additional Capsules will be randomly added to players’ accounts after claiming the initial drop. Prime members can claim their first capsule up until Aug. 28.
 

To claim the loot, first League of Legends players  must have Twitch Prime – which comes as part of an Amazon Prime subscription – and link their League of Legends account to their Twitch account.
 
Then players need to head to the Twitch Prime site, or via link in the League of Legends client to get the loot. The site will prompt you through the account linking process if you haven’t already linked your League of Legends account.
 
Those that don’t have Twitch Prime and don’t intend to still have an opportunity to get some loot, as Amazon Prime offers a one-month free trial to new members. Assuming you haven’t already used the trial, you can use this to claim the first capsule.
 
Unfortunately, the subsequent Capsules require that the Twitch Prime account remain active, so you won’t be able to receive all of them without paying.
 
Even if players miss the previous bundles, they’ll want to pick up the last specifically for the Legendary skin. However, they’ll need to at least grab this first Rift Herald's Capsule in order to enroll in the promotion.
