Fortnite Halloween Challenges Have Been Revealed Now and How to Complete All The Challenges
Fortnite's second annual “
Fortnitemares” Halloween event is upon us, and it comes with all kinds of spooky new content. It’ s going to come with some challenges and cosmetic unlocks, but it’ s also adding some massive gameplay changes as well. The Fortnitemares Fortnite Halloween event introduces
a bonus set of Challenges and a new way of playing Battle Royale mode. Completing those challenges will give you additional XP to help go towards your many
Season 6 Battle Pass, as well as plenty of other rewards. Note you'll need to be a Battle Pass holder in order to undertake this challenge. If you’re just getting started, hopefully this guide can provide some useful hints when you deal with the Halloween challenges.
The Fortnite V6.20 Patch was released on October 24 , which kicks off the Fortnitemare event. Besides, this is when Epic Games has released in-game skins for the first time. Furthermore, players figured out how to do the rocket riding with the Pumpkin Launcher.
Just for Fortnitemares, Epic has added a few AI enemies to all of Fortnite’ s battle royale modes. These enemies, which seemed to have been spawned by the mysterious Cube, will attack players and chase them if they get close enough. The cube has made quite the journey since it first appeared last season and its latest move is releasing Cube Fragments onto the map.
Cube Monsters will emerge from these fragments and killing them provides a chance at finding extra shield and loot. The small Cube fragments will spawn randomly on the map while the larger fragments can be found at corrupted zones.
To fight off the hoard of monsters are two new weapons. One is the modified return of the crossbow, now known as the Hunter Crossbow with 40 base damage and unlimited ammo. The Six Shooter allows for increased fire rate when shooting from the hip while aiming down the sight allows for more precision. The Hand Cannon got a few buffs and the Rocket Launcher has a temporary visual upgrade with the Pumpkin Rocket Launcher. To unlock more

Also new for Fortnitemares is the Deadfire skin, which is an entirely new type of adaptive cosmetic. skin will change based on how much damage you've dealt to enemies and how long you've stayed in the match, meaning that the more damage you do to enemies, or the later you last in the game, the skin will change and gain new effects. This is entirely different from anything else we’ ve seen in Fortnite and it’ s likely to be a feature on several high-profile skins in the future.
In addition, Fortnitemares even gets its own set of challenges that change every few days. If you complete the first set of challenges you get the “Fiery” emote, a little green flame you can snap into existence. Completing them all will eventually earn you the Dark Engine glider. There are four new sets of challenges that unlock every few days and are free for everyone. The first set has been unlocked already. The next unlocks in 3 days, then 5 days, then the final one in one week. You can check the following list of the first set of challenges and corresponding rewards.
