There are a lot of different challenges waiting for players to complete in Fortnite. The Prowler Challenges has been open to all players. In order to complete it and obtain the Prowler Skin, you need to find a Thermal Scoped Assault Rifle at first. So, this article will tell you how to find this weapon in Fortnite. Thermal Weapon Information

A thermal weapon lets you see heat signatures when aiming down the sights. This makes it easier to spot an enemy in the distance. You can only see heat signatures while zoomed in, so having the thermal weapon in your inventory won’t be enough to activate the effect.

 

There is currently only one thermal weapon in Fortnite, the Thermal Scoped Assault Rifle. This gun comes in two rarities: Epic and Legendary. This means you can ignore any scoped weapons that aren’t purple or orange when trying to locate one.

 

If you like the thermal effect, but not the scope, consuming a Thermal Fish displays heat signatures without the need to equip any weapons. However, this effect doesn’t last very long, so be sure to stock up on Thermal Fish if you plan on using them a lot.

 

Where to Find Thermal Weapon

There is currently only one type of thermal weapon in Fortnite Chapter 3, Season 2 – the Thermal Scoped Assault Rifle. A weapon of Blue rarity and above, players are most likely to find them in chests, fishing spots, and, on occasion, as floor loot. This prized weapon can be quite difficult to come by, though there is one guaranteed drop on the map.

 

A fairly basic and rudimentary way of getting your hands on a Thermal Weapon, but the most tried and tested method. If you’re keen on getting the challenge done ASAP, then we advise you to drop into the map as far away from everyone as possible, giving yourself ample opportunity to loot as many chests unimpeded. You’ll have a better chance of finding one by searching high-tier chests.

An IO Hunter will spawn during the last wave of the fight between The Seven and the IO. This week, you can find the fight and the IO Hunter at Coney Crossroads, under the blimp where Huntmaster Saber is.

 

You should be able to take down Huntmaster Saber by yourself thanks to the new Overshield feature added in Chapter 3 Season 2. The IO blimps also feature Jetpacks, so you can pick up some serious loot when you defeat Huntmasater Saber.

 

Saber can teleport around the Airship, so players should try to lead him up to the blimp’s main floor as this offers the widest space to fight him. The key to taking him down is keeping distance; though somewhat inaccurate like most bots, his Mythic weapon can do some serious damage. Moreover, he has a short-range spin attack, which pulls in players and deals 40 damage. Having a Jetpack comes in handy, as the main area gives players plenty of space to fly away and make some distance before Saber can teleport again.
