Serie A officially announced the launch of its football game e-sports league "eSerie A TIM". The league will replicate the real situation of the Italian top league online, and about 4,000 PS4 users (16 years old and above) can register for the competition through FIFA 20.

   
 

On Wednesday, February 5th, Lega Serie A officially launched the eSerie A TIM, providing thousands of players with the opportunity to compete for the top Italian football league championship in game events. Lega Serie A teamed up with Infront and PG Esports to organize games on PS4.
 
The league is divided into two stages: an online knockout tournament open to all amateurs to support amateurs as professional players, and players are selected by the eSports club. Then the club selects players for the real tournament, which is divided into group stages, playoffs and finals.
 
All Italian players can enter the competition online from February 5th, and the first four online competitions will begin on February 10th.
 
Registration to participate in the competition is already open (Link in Source): the best players, who will be able to qualify online, will have the opportunity to be chosen by one of the 17 official Clubs of the Championship, to face the next stages of the tournament by wearing the shirt Official. All FIFA 20 players who reach the eSerie A TIM Grand Final will also be rewarded with FIFA Global Series Points, which are useful for increasing the chances of participating in the FIFA eWorld Cup which will take place towards the end of the year.
 
The Playoffs show will be staged on May 4th and 5th , with a Double Elimination Scoreboard : the three best teams in each Group will access the Playoffs Winner Bracket and will have the opportunity to go directly to the Final, but if they are defeated they can challenge the other teams in the Last side Chance of the Playoff Scoreboard, in the thrilling knockout matches in Best of One.
 
Only the 8 best teams (the 4 of the Winner Bracket and the 4 “survivors” of the Last Chance side) will detach a ticket for the Grand Final.
