EA Sports Unveils FIFA 19 Tournaments with English Premier League.

The Premier League and Electronic Arts announce FIFA 19 tournament for the next year. The inaugural
ePremier League (ePL) competition will involve all 20 premier league teams, each of which will hold their own tournaments to choose two players to represent them—one each for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. All stages of the tournament will be operated by UK esports solutions provider
Gfinity, with the final round to take place at the Gfinity Esports Arena in London in March, 2019. Finals will be broadcast live on Sky Sports and the own social media channels of the Premier League. Players will play the game for two months, spanning online qualification, the live club play-offs and the live final. Registration for the tournament opens on December 3, while online qualification begins in January and club play-offs span February and March.
The final will take place over two days, March 28 and 29. The best sixteen players for each team will qualify for play-offs at a venue of their club’s choosing, before the best two players for each club move on to the grand final and eventually one player will be chosen to represent each Premier league club on PS4 and Xbox One.
There is no prize money for the ePremier league winner, instead they will be rewarded with FIFA Global Series points which count towards a player’s ranking to enter the FIFA eWorld Cup in 2019.
