Destiny 2 adds the Wish Keeper weapon in the Season of the Wish, which is a great Exotic Bow in the game. How to get Wish-Keeper in Destiny 2

Wish-Keeper is really all about the Starcrossed Exotic mission. This challenging foray into the Black Garden rewards Wish-Keeper upon first completion, and requires additional runs if you are to unlock the various Wish-Keeper Catalysts.

 

In order to access Starcrossed you will need to participate in the Wishing All the Best weekly mission. For the purposes of Wish-Keeper you will want to progress until week 4. After a conversation in the H.E.L.M. you will be sent into a mission called 'Apophasis'. Successful completion will be followed by a quick conversation with Crow, then you will be granted access to Starcrossed.

 

Starcrossed is tuned towards higher level players, and can be a bit of a challenge, especially solo. Once you complete it you will be awarded Wish-Keeper. This bow is craftable, so if you want another, or want to customize it in the future, you can do so at the Enclave.

 

How to Get Wish Keeper Catalysts in Destiny 2

As of Season of the Wish, Wish-Keeper's Catalysts are locked behind quests given by Mara Sov that only become available after acquiring the bow. Speak with her at the HELM to get the Constellation quests, which will have players going back to Starcrossed in Legend difficulty to find constellations that must be shot with Wish-Keeper. Multiple catalysts can be unlocked in a single Starcrossed run as long as players have the required quest steps unlocked (the step that requires them to finish the mission again on Legend difficulty).

 

To get all four catalysts for Wish-Keeper, you're going to need to complete the Constellation quests that you get from Mara once you've finished Starcrossed and acquired the exotic bow. The good news is that these quests are pretty simple, requiring you to locate a Constellation, shoot it with Wish-Keeper, collect it, and then complete Starcrossed on Legend difficulty to earn the catalyst itself.

 

Here are Wish-Keeper's four catalysts:

 

Enduring Snare Refit: Snareweaver Traps last longer.

Multi-Threaded Snare Refit: Snareweaver Traps can now suspend more targets.

Vorpal Weapon Refit: Extra damage to bosses, vehicles, and Guardians with super active.

Hatchling Refit: Precision or rapid final blows have a chance to spawn a Threadling.

And here's where to find each Constellation for its specific catalyst.

 

The two existing perks, Vorpal Weapon and Hatchling, work well with the bow’s general utility. Vorpal Weapon can make it even better against Champions, giving it a huge bump in effectiveness in higher-end content. Hatchling can also work well since getting kills won’t be as much of an issue with Wish-Keeper due to its Exotic buff against red-bar enemies.

 

That said, enhancing the flavor and uniqueness of Wish-Keeper’s effects can also make great catalyst choices. We’ll have to wait until all four catalysts are out to make a decision, but all of them feel like great additions to the weapon.
