Apex Legends 1.2 Patch is now live, which brings a brand new limited time event called “The Legendary Hunt” to the game. The event runs from June 4, through July 2 and features the Apex Elite Queue, challenge rewards, double XP, and more, all of which have been broken down in detail below.

 

Apex Elite Queue
 
First, Respawn Entertainment has introduced a new queue today for players to further hone their skills. The Apex Elite Queue will run from June 4th until July 2nd. All players have to do to make it into this is place in the Top 5 of any match. Once they have done this, they can queue up with others who have placed Top 5 and battle it outin the Elite Queue,which pits Apex’s best players against each other in an epic brawl to see who comes out on top. This mode is completely optional, but it does come with a few perks, including character specific badges and the ability to track Elite wins.
 
Legendary Hunt Challenges And Rewards
 
The Legendary Hunt itself will have rewards for players for completing these special in-game challenges through this event. Note that these challenges will be available from June 4 to June 18.
   • Legendary Hunt Badge – Finish in the Top 5 in any match. Tracks your longest Top 5 streak in the Elite Queue.
   • Rare Wolfpack G7 Scout weapon skin – Finish in the Top 5 in an Apex Elite match.
   • Epic Master of the Hunt Bloodhound Legend skin – Finish in the Top 5 in any queue five times (consecutive or nonconsecutive).
   • Legendary Tamed Beast Triple Take weapon skin – Win twice in any queue (consecutive or nonconsecutive).
 
Double XP and Battle Pass bonus XP
 
In addition, during the Legendary Hunt event, Battle Pass owners can enjoy double XP Bonus from June 4 through June 18 if you own the Battle Pass. On top of that, you can earn an entire Battle Pass level once per day by finishing in the top 5.
 
In addition, the studio is also planning a double XP weekend starting this Friday, June 7 at 10 a.m. Pacific time. You will get double XP for everything until 10 a.m. Pacific time on Monday.
 
Legendary Hunt Store Skins
 
Every three to four days during the event, we'll have new Legendary Hunt themed skins rotating through the in-game store for direct purchase. You can purchase these skins with Cheap Apex Legends Coins at 5mmo.com, a professional online in-game currency store.
 
Two Additional Legendary Skins for all Battle Pass Owners
 
Players who have the Wild Frontier Battle Pass will automatically get the Legendary Honored Prey R-301 skin. Players who reach Battle Pass level 15 before the end of the event will get the Wraith Night Terror Legendary skin.
