Recommended Gear To Fight Scurrius
Our most recommended low-level gear is mid-tier armor. if your combat level is between 70 and 100, depending on your fighting style choose Rune Armour/Green D'Hide/Mystic Robes, paired with an Amulet of Glory, Barrow's Gloves, and your best boots, cape, and ring, these are great choices.
 
If your combat level is high, you can choose Barrow's Armour/Black D'Hide/Void Equipment, Barrow's Armour has good defense against attacks and Void Equipment can add extra DPS for you.
 
Once the player reaches level 80 or higher, they can use Dragon Scimitar, Magic Shortbow, and Iban's Staff to fight Scurrius. When you get Scurrius' Spine, it can be used to it can be used to make Rat Bone Weaponry, and you get extra damage in battle. At this point, you can kill Scurrius with just a Bone Mace, Bone Shortbow, or Bone Staff with only the Ultimate, but it's worth noting that you'll need to have a Super Combat Potion/Ranging Potion, Prayer Potions, a Teleport Tab, and healing with food.
 

How To Defeat Scurrius?
On the east side of Varrock Castle, go down and run west to find Historian Aldo just outside the entrance to Scurrius' lair. Here you have the option to start a fight.
 
Step1: Scurrius 100% to 75% Health
During this phase, it is recommended that players use Protect from Melee prayer, where multiple heads of Scurrius will attack you at the same time, as well as fire sparks of blue lightning and green cloud darts to attack your magic and ranged, respectively.
 
Once Scurrius reaches 75 percent health, it will begin to head to the food pile in the lair to feed, at which point it will only launch magic and ranged attacks at the player, and after it finishes eating the food it will begin to launch all of its attacks at you again.
 
There is also a special attack that the player needs to be aware of, the rubble will fall from the ceiling, but this is an attack that you can notice through the shadows and pieces of rubble and then dodge it.
Step 2: Scurrius 75% to 25% Health
Players will also need to repeat the previous actions in this stage, and if your lower level gets hit many times in this stage, you may want to consider killing the six giant rats that appear together first.
 
Sep 3: Scurrius 25% to 0% Health
When Scurrius reaches 25% of his life level he will travel to the center of the lair and attack all players while rubble continues to fall from the ceiling. When attacking Scurrius, continue to move away from the falling rubble and the battle will be over when it runs out of life.
